Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to pay for a new greenhouse - # 7. We have been accepted to sell at the Philadelphia Flower Show in March and need the additional growing space to grow cut flowers for the show. The greenhouse is already built and filled with lilies for the show. I paid for it with a credit card, but would rather pay Prosper Lenders than Bank of America! I already received a loan from Prosper in March, 2007. This loan is current and has always been paid on time. That loan was for another greenhouse that helped sales to increase about $25,000 this year to a total of about $250,000. The flower show is expected to generate at least $50,000 in additional sales during the eight days of the show. We'll be selling cut flowers, potted bulbs and herbs. (I know several people who sell there and they do extremely well.) This latest greenhouse will give us more growing space so that sales will increase throughout the year and allow us more space to grow for the Philadelphia Flower Show each year.
