To be used for professional photography and website design
Cash on Hand money in my business savings for out of the ordinary expenses

Why: To take my business to the next level.

Who:  I am a full service architectural design and drafter and I will be taking my Architecture Registration Exam to be a fully licensed architect this spring and I am looking for marketing funds to take my business to the next level.

For the past six years I have maintained a steady business designing and drawing new houses and renovations, from initial design sketches to construction documents. To date ? all of my business has been referral.

Results: Last spring I decided to hire a professional photographer to capture one of my projects to submit to a design competition and I was published. From that experience I decided to create my own web site.

Next Step: I now need to upgrade the web site by providing professional photographs of several projects and hire a web site designer to build a better site. I would also like to use some of the professional photographs in magazine ads and press releases so that I can target a new level of clientele.

History: I bring to my business the experiences of working for 8 years for two architectural firms prior to going off on my own, and know how important marketing is in this industry. I have worked hard to get to this point and my family has been patient with my many weekends at the computer. Because I am a sole proprietor, I have low overhead and have the ability to offer high-end clients a great service without charging very large fees. I can do well charging a smaller fee and I would like to tap into the high-end market.

I have a prosper loan that originated at $7500 that allowed me to expand my business in August 2006 and now I am ready to expand again. I have paid my other loan down to $3600 already and have no problems making my payments. I am married and my husband?s income takes care of most of the family bills including our housing and taxes. His income is not weighed in my debt to income ratio.

Plan: The marketing plan that I have designed requires $5000 in photographer?s fees and $3000 for a website. I would also like to take $2000 to fund my business savings account to be used as a safety for the unexpected.

Current Financials: My current income is $5000-6000 monthly and I cover the following:

Utilities: $400-600
Childcare: $300
Business expenses: $200-400
Family food: $1200
Credit Card/Prosper Loan: $600
Total $ 3000

Repayment:
Like my current prosper loan, I plan to make intermittent large payments throughout the loan to reduce the length of the loan in addition to my monthly payment.

Thank you for considering my request.
