Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to pay off existing credit card debt and consolidate payments. Most of my credit card debt was incurred when I was assisting my son with college expenses. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because I have an excellent payment history and no delinquencies. I contribute approximately $1200 for all household expenses, including housing, utilities, food, car expenses, etc. (as evidenced below). While shopping for possible debt consolidation loans, I learned about Prosper and thought that this an excellent way to exhibit "people helping people".
