Purpose of loan: I have some current debt that accrued during the wedding on my credit card. I would like to pay this off as soon as I can. I don't like having debt hanging over my head at a high interest rate and this was recommended to me as a great option. My financial situation: I went to law school and I work in the legal department of a pharma company. I had no debt until I had to take out loans for law school. Because I've only been out in the working world for about a year and a half, I did not have a lot of savings when my wedding rolled around this past October. I had to use a credit card in order to pay for it and now I would prefer to pay actual humans to loan me money rather than more big companies. I have a steady job and I pay my bills on time. I want to pay off the credit card I have and cut it up. Hopefully, my husband and I will be able to use this loan as a stepping stone to open our own law practice together. |
