This loan will bring me closer to my financial goal and the end of living paycheck to pay check while hoping to have enough to pay the minimum towards my credit cards. The reality is, I am a Social Worker. As most people are aware, this is not a profession chosen for it's financial gain. Although I enjoy my chosen profession very much, it does not allow me to enjoy the financial freedom of leisure...aka vacation. Needless to say, the stress and demand of my job and my happiness seemed more important and crucial than money at the time. I did not consider debt as a consequence and was only concerned about my happiness and stress relief. After several vacations paid for by Mr. Visa and Mrs. Mastercard, I am paying over $600.00 a month towards a credit card balance of 11,900. I am at a point in my life where I have learned where to put my money and how to make it grow, but I struggle in starting this financial plan b/c of my current debt. I recently consolidated my credit with Careone, where they helped lower my interest rates from 25.99% to 15%. If I am able to pay a large lump sum towards this debt it would significantly lower my monthly payment allowing me to start my financial plan sooner than later. Although my credit is not perfect, I have never been delinquent on any debts. If I do not do something about it now, the above statement won't be true for much longer. My overall financial situation is not great. I suppose anyone listing their profile on prosper would have to say the same. I am single and live on my own and work very hard to pay my bills on time. This has always been my priority to the point of sacrificing any luxuries & social life. The $7,000 I am asking for is to put a significant amount towards my credit card debt as well as knowing I have more than $200.00 in the bank in the event life throws me a flat tire or raises gas prices again, making me wish I actually liked public transportation. Monthly net income: $ 4,400.00-month Monthly expenses: Housing: $ $850.00 Insurance: $ 150.00 Car expenses: $ Lease-$260.00-Gas-$320.00 Utilities: $ Electric-100-Gas bill $50 Phone, cable, internet: $ Phone-$85.00cable/80.00/internet-60.00 Food, entertainment: $ 300.00 Clothing, household expenses $100 Credit cards and other loans: $ $600.00+$100-for dept store card (macy?s) Other expenses: $ $125.00 |
