Hi there! My name is JoAnna. I am 22 and have had my fair share of credit issues. I keep nothing secret so upon request I can fax or email pay stubs (both mine and my fiance's), credit reports, credit scores and any other information that will help you bid with confidence. I work as a Patient Service Specialist (PSS) for Salem Clinic. To learn more about the clinic you can visit their web site at www.salemclinic.org . If you would like to verify employment you can call the clinic and speak to Human Resources.   Their phone number can be verified at the website.

My fiance's income will also be used to help repay the loan. He is currently a door builder for medallion cabinetry which is a subsidiary of Elkay. Their web site is www.elkay.com. His work number is 503-838-4004 & his employment can be verified but please don't ask to speak to him directly as personal calls are frowned upon. (number is legit: http://www.google.com/search?sa=X&oi=fwp&pb=f&q=503-838-4004 states this is a Medallion Cabinetry business #) The two of us bring home ~$2760/mo before overtime.

Why I need the loan. My father, pictured above, had a heart attack in April. As a result, my fiance and I took it upon ourselves to relocate quickly. The move was not cheap, and unfortunately due to the surgery my father was out of work for some time (though he now receives partial disability and has started work again). We had to get payday loans for moving. Just as we started to get out from under some of these loans I was diagnosed with endometriosis. I missed work before the problem was caught and so needed more payday loans and debt. We are capable of affording the monthly payments for the prosper loan. The short terms and high interest rates of our current loans are what we're having trouble with. We hope to clear out this debt and get back on track.

My monthly budgeted bills total $2595. (see profile for details) My fiance and I bring home around $2660 a month. This leaves us little to no breathing room. The payday loans and high rate cards are costing us ~$550/month. I will provide proof of the loans and medical doc's through a link in my profile later. The payments for the prosper loan would be about a 5th. This would allow us to cover the payments and set aside some money in savings as a cushion should the unforeseen cause us problems. My credit report, both of our paystubs and any other information is available by fax or email upon request.

Group leader comments:
I've seen her paystubs and her fiance's paystubs, and verified her work email as well. I've also verified that she's been rolling over payday loans.  I have not (and do not plan to) call every single one of the numbers above.  She has not had any delinqs - 90 days or otherwise, since bankruptcy. Her budget seems reasonable, and the total of her reported credit card and payday loan debt seems to be addressable w/the loan, with a small cushion of savings left over.  She is a coworker (and decade-long friend) of another group member that I thoroughly vetted. This is NOT a lo-risk loan - layoffs are possible, medical conditions reoccur, as do breakups and ensuing financial acrimony. I cannot say for sure that she won't rerack up debt once paid down, nor do I have any real recourse if she does. That being said, my guess is that even on an objective level, her HR status would rebound decently w/a Prosper refi (based on my viewing of her experian plus score of >600, and anecdotal evidence that utilization is weighted heavily on scoreX - which seems to be a big issue). Questions of whether an HR w/ a refi'd installment loan instead of revolving hi-utilization debt jumping to E status, truly reduce default risk or not, will not be resolved here of course.
