Purpose of loan: Looking to consolidate several high interest credit cards and in having one lower payment--my goal is to pay off this loan in 1and 1/2 years and then start saving that payment-- My financial situation: I have been a nurse for over 17 + years and have been continuously employeed since graduating in 1990. I love what I do and work not only in a hospital(40 +hours per week) but have taken a second job at a local community college as a clinical instructor. I would eventually like to teach full time. I believe in myself and my ability to pay back this loan--I have been able to over the last year pay back 10000.00 in credit card debt on my own and am wanting to get the rest paid off and lower my interest rate and have ONE payment!!!! I have learned that credit cards are NOT for me and I will be using cash only from now on--I am striving to be DEBT FREE within the next 5 years (COMPLETELY DEBT FREE)--This loan will enable me to save money every month to pay off several other bills and get ahead by saving some money for a rainy day. Over the last 18 months my husband and myself have had to have unforseen surgeries and we are trying to recover from a cut in income during the surgery and recovery period--this is why I still have some deliquencies (some on my report are in dispute) we are playing catch up and paying off and consolidating these and the rest of by credit card debt will help us get much further ahead.--I am also going to be able to pay off some outstanding medical bills.I have some deliquencies this loan would eliminate that from ever happening again d/t ONE payment--I see my debts as a MORAL obligation to pay and will treat the proper loan as such. Monthly net income: $ 3000.00 (this is for my income only-my husband is also employeed full time and helps pay other bills--we recently went to working opposite shifts to eliminate child care expenses) Monthly expenses: $ Housing: $ 700.00 (my husband pays other 700) Insurance: $ 150.00 Car expenses: $ 300.00 Utilities: $ 150.00 Phone, cable, internet: $ 100.00 Food, entertainment: $ 200.00 Clothing, household expenses $ Credit cards and other loans: $ 800.00 Other expenses: As you can see from my budget I do have some extra funds every month--and by replacing my credit card payments with the prosper payment--I will be able to save money THANK YOU ALL FOR YOU HELP!!! |
