ABOUT US My name is Robert [LAST NAME DELETED]. My wife and I have been married for 36 years and we have two grown children. As with most marriages of that length we?ve had our financial problems. Ten years ago I was out of work for about a year. We survived that and I finally got work. I have a really good job now that I like and I bring home about $4,000 a month. My wife was a legal secretary for over 30 years and even though the pay was very good she was tired of it and it was causing her some health problems because of the stress. She decided to get out of that business and has found a new job that she likes and has little or no stress. She brings home about $1,300 a month. We enjoy taking long drives in the country, along the coast or up into the mountains. After all these years we still enjoy each other?s company. We like to watch movies on DVD. I have to admit our taste in music is somewhat different but not so bad that one likes classical and the other likes rap! WHY WE NEED A LOAN About 15 or 20 years ago we didn?t have dental insurance with our jobs, and as a result, we didn?t go to the dentist as often as we should have. My wife is now suffering from dental problems that are a direct result of not going to the dentist often enough. The problems can be repaired but it?s going to be expensive. We have dental insurance through my work but it will still cost a lot (please don?t think all of her teeth are falling out!). This is less important than fixing my wife?s teeth, but we need some new furniture: new box spring and mattress and a new couch. USE OF LOAN If I get this loan, the first thing I want to do is see to it that my wife?s dental problems are repaired. If there is any money left over, then we?ll try to get the new box spring, mattress and couch, but her dental problems come first. PAYMENT OF LOAN Making payments on this loan will not be a problem. Even though I have the dental insurance it doesn't pay everything. The payment to Prosper.com will be much less than our payments to the dentist would be. I want to thank Prosper.com for giving me the opportunity to help my wife correct her dental problems and feel more comfortable. The box spring, mattress and couch would be great, too, but her well being and self-confidence are more important. |
