Purpose of loan: Pay off High Interest CITI card My wife and I are in the process of helping our daughters in college. While doing so we have decided the best way we can help them is to get our bills payed off. We are in the process of paying off/down a number of credit cards that are in my name and have managed to pays over $3500.00 towards our credit cards this month. I have a CITI card that I would like to pay off as well. I figure why pay a large coorperation all that interest when I would rather pay fellow prosper members. I realize that my credit score has fallen because of a couple of finacial moves I have had to make however I have always paid my debts and will continue to do so. I have an active loan with prosper and you will see that I have never missed a payment. My financial situation: I am stable in my employment, and have been in the same career field since I graduated from college. I have continued to advance with the company and I am currently assigned to a project which is scheduled through June 2010. Although my wife income was not utilized, she is fully supportive of this request. I would also like to state that my 401K which could be utilized to pay this debt if circumstances dictated.
