Purpose of loan:
I will use this loan to pay the catering bill from our wedding. We ended up with a lot more people than we expected and I had to pay the catering bill with my AMEX charge card. The original bill was $8000, and I have paid it down to $6500 over the last week. I will have it down to $5000 by the time this listing ends. The balance is due at the end of the month.

My financial situation:
My Experian PLUS credit score is 643. The 'Experian Scorex PLUS' used by Prosper has me down in the E range (643 would put me in the C range) due to high credit utilization. I paid for most of the wedding with 0% APR credit cards. Because of that, my Prosper loan will be my only high-interest rate loan, which means I will be paying it off first. I'm expecting a 12% bonus this year, and I will be exercising stock options. Even with this Prosper loan, I will have all of my debt paid off before the promotional rate ends in 18 months.

I have been employed full time since I graduated college (BSME) in 2002 and moved to California. In the last 5 years I have almost doubled my income by making a few strategic job changes to companies that will pay more for what I do. I make enough money to pay this bill, just not fast enough for AMEX. Just in case this loan doesn't go through, I have my motorcycle up for sale. December is a terrible time to sell a motorcycle, but that's the kind of thing I will do to protect my credit.

I have no delinquencies, no bankruptcies. I pay my bills on time, every time, no excuses. I'm listing at a high APR because that seems to be the best way to attract bidders on Prosper. My crappy Scorex rating is your high-profit investment!

Monthly net income: $4369

This is not including my wifes income (~$1800). She buys our groceries and pays for most everyday items.

Monthly expenses: $3439, leaving $930 to pay this loan
  Rent: $1151
  Insurance: $165
Car expenses: $835 (two car loans)
  Electric: $80
  Cell phone, cable: $180
Food, entertainment: (comes out of my wifes check)
  Clothing, household expenses $100
Credit cards and other loans: $800
Other expenses: $128 (student loan, 4% APR)

Please feel free to contact me at any time with questions or if you need more information that shows I'm a low risk borrower.
