Car repair hell! Time for a commuter.

Purpose of loan: I'm in car repair hell! My 1999 VW Passat wagon is being used as my daily driver and is showing the signs of wear and tear of my commute. Fortunately I've had an extended warranty that has covered most of the repair costs so far as you can see in the picture above. It's time to get a commuter and fix the remaining issues with the family car before anything else goes wrong! This loan would go to fixing the airbag crash sensor, timing belt maintenance, and a Toyota Corolla or the like as I've had good luck with those in the past; it'd be nice to get better MPG as well. My financial situation: For over a year now I've had a current Prosper loan and always made the payments on time (it's nice that it's automated, I can't take all the credit ;-) ). I've also established a stable job where I've been promoted twice so far this year. I want to continue these great trends into 2008; but I have to get there everyday first!
