I am the proud father of the five children in the picture above. In 2003, I was laid off from my position as an insurance claims manager. After a year and a half of unemployment and living only on my wife's salary, I secured a position with the city government here in Chicago as an executive assistant for the chief attorney in my department. During my period of unemployment, I got behind on my bills, especially on some medical bills for me, my wife, and one of my children. I have been working on catching all my bills back up, especially the deliquencies. I want to use part of the loan to clean up my credit. I also want to build a small cushion so that I will have it for emergencies. A small portion of the loan would go to making a small Christmas for my kids. I purchased a vehicle for my wife to drive to work with in February of this year, and this payment is current. My position with the city is very stable, as are my current expenses. I know that my credit looks horrible, but I do hope that you will have faith in me and give me the chance that I need to make things better with my credit and my life.
