It's time for me to upgrade. I am currently trying to purchase a newer mobile grooming unit as the one I have now is a very old and well used unit. I am hoping to switch from the van I have to a trailer. Since we are now entering the winter months, I do not want to chance my van breaking down on me when I am on a job. I have been very successful in my pet grooming business thus far and am ready to take it to the next level. I have found a grooming trailer for sale for $10,500. I have $1000 of my own money and my parents have agreed to give me $3,500 to put towards it. It has a few more bells and whistles so I can be more efficient and provide add on services such as a spa bath and blueberry facials for the doggies. In turn I can begin to charge a higher rate for my services as I become more specialized. I am currently still working my full time job as a proposal writer and have no intention of leaving it just yet. I want to ensure my grooming business has a very solid foundation before I take the plunge into doing it full time. I believe this trailer purchase will help me take my business to the next level. The trailer looks much more professional and I can pull it with the SUV I currently own that runs like a champ so no worries for me breaking down! I have posted a pic of the trailer so you can see what it looks like. Also I have posted before and after pics of my grooming skills for your reference. My monthly bills are: Rent $1000.00 (my roomate me she is moving out at the end of the month) :( Car - PAID OFF :-) Utilities - $230.00 Credit Card - $45.00 1st Prosper Loan - $133.00 Phone - $100.00 Food - $300.00 Gas - $200.00 TOTAL: $2008.00 My Monthly Income: $3600.00 Credit Report Explanation: My credit report shows many delinquencies. I was divorced back in 2005 and my ex-husband and I incurred a significant amount of debt together. Unfortunately, I got the responsibility for most of it after the divorce was finalized. I could not afford to keep up with all the payments so I filed for bankruptcy in October of 2005. Since then, I have worked very hard to rebuild my credit. I am currently just on the cusp of a C rating with Prosper. A few more points and I will be there. My ulitmate goal is to have an AA rating, but I have learned to take things one day at a time. This loan will continue to help me raise my score. My last loan with Prosper was used to buy the grooming van I am currently using. I got what I could afford at the time and while it has worked out, it is very old and on its last leg. I am hoping to take my business to the next level with purchasing this new grooming trailer!
