Purpose of loan: Raise money for investment capital. My financial situation: I graduated from college Dec 2005. 2006 Annual Income: $71,000 2007 Year to Date Income: $107,000 - Jan-Nov 2008 Projected Income: $300,000 Since I have graduated from college I have paid off all of my debt except for my 4.9% car loan, 5k left, and my 3% student loans, 10k left. Now I am ready to start investing heavily. For me the easiest way to save is take out a loan that I have to repay. I took out a 5k loan through Prosper in Sept 2007 and it has now been repaid in full. It was an easy process and now I am looking to repeat but with a larger amount. I plan to repay this loan within 3-6 months. The last quarter of 2006 I have cleared over 10k net a month. I am being promoted effective January 1st 2008 and will double my income. I currently have about 20k in investments and earn between 20%-30% on them. This 20k loan will be used for investments in the stock market and in 2-3 months I will put it into a business. Not sure what this business will be yet so don't ask. As you can see from my income vs expenses repaying this loan will not be a problem.
