Hello, I appreciate your consideration in the funding of my Prosper loan. My current career is that of a Toxicologist working for the California Environmental Protection Agency located in Glendale, California. With a BS degree in Chemistry from the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines, I went on to receive my Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Caltech in Pasadena, California. Over the past 20 years, I have had various interesting career paths: as a research scientist in academia; owner and sole proprietor of a French bakery/cafe; working for several years as an environmental consultant; and at the present time as a scientist who determines whether there could be health effects to people who are exposed to chemicals present in hazardous waste sites. At the moment, I am also in the process of being certified as a life coach. Although my niche is in career/executive coaching due to my extensive experience in the corporate environment, I also coach people to help them in specific personal situations in their lives. All throughout my career I have also been a mother to my two wonderful sons. My oldest is in his senior year majoring in Architecture at a university in New York and the youngest will be starting graduate school studying Economics in Washington, D.C. I have been supporting my sons in college which has caused me to become overextended on my credit cards. Now that I have just the oldest to assist for another 5 months until his graduation, I am seeking a Prosper loan to consolidate all my high interest credit card debt into one lower monthly payment. Fortunately, my younger son has a scholarship for his graduate studies. If I am fortunate to be funded through Prosper, the money will be used to eliminate high interest debts that I incurred covering my sons? college living expenses that were not covered by student loans. This will dramatically lower my credit card debt, enabling me to pay off all my obligations within the next 3 years. Credit Cards / Loans to Payoff: Cashcall: $ 2,534.43 @ 35% HFC: $13,822.48 @ 28.90% HSBC: $ 1,252.27 @ 27.74% Macy?s: $ 1,976.26 @ 22.90% Chevron: $ 1,297.94 @ 21.00% Total Prosper Loan Requested: $21,000 The recent numerous inquires on my credit report were from my shopping around for the best interest rate in buying a vehicle that I use for my work. Monthly Net Income: I earn $5,453.54/mo. net. Monthly Expenses BEFORE PROSPER Loan: $4,803.02 Housing/ Utilities: $ 0 (mortgage and utilities are paid by my ex-husband) Insurance: $ 71.16 Car expenses: $ 945.33 Phone, cable, internet: $ 395.53 Food, entertainment: $ 600 Clothing, household expenses: $ 200 Credit cards & other loans: $ 1,300 (over $800 will be eliminated by Prosper loan) Other expenses: $541 (I?m starting to pay for my Parent Plus loan for my sons? education) Other expenses: $ 750 (5 months of living expenses for my oldest son in college) Monthly Expenses AFTER PROSPER Loan: $3,990.02 (not including the Prosper payment) As you can see, I will have over $1,460 left with which to pay my Prosper loan. My finances are very stable and improving my very good ?B? credit while eliminating these high interest debts is a top priority for me. I have always paid all my bills on time and I plan to continue in this responsible manner with this Prosper loan. Each month the payment will be automatically withdrawn from my bank account. There is also the potential of supplementing my income with independent environmental consulting fees or coaching fees. I sincerely promise that I will never default on this loan nor betray the confidence that you demonstrate by responding to this loan request. Thanks for your support in my quest to consolidate my credit cards. |
