Purpose of loan: I am simplifying my request and hopefully I will be successful this time as my other listings were too far-reaching and I guess I was asking for too much. The money will be used for very good reasons: help a young family to get back on track with credit card debt and to keep saving for the children. I also have aging parents who are reaching retirement and I want to be able to help them, at least a little. I am going to use the funds to consolidate some of my outstanding debts to help improve my overall situation. I am a successful person in a very secure job and have a wonderful supportive husband. My husband and two children (a third on the way) depend on me to take care of them. We know that by receiving this loan, it will help us continue on our road to success together. Thank you for your consideration. Income: I bring home about $3,000 on a bi-weekly basis and it is only going to increase because I've just resumed my business consultation and bookkeeping business. I also work as a part-time promotional model which brings in about $1,000 per month and that helps, but the problem is I don't get paid until 6 or 8 weeks after the work is done and that adds to the cash flow crunch. Because my pregnant belly will be showing soon, I would most likely need to stop this part-time work until after the new baby's arrival. I have been working regularly so the checks will be more steady because of the lapse we've already had for the work done earlier this quarter. Such cash flow crunch has caused us to dip deep into our reserves because of gasoline and bridge tolls to get to the jobs. I did this so I wouldn't fall behind in any bills. I have been able to achieve that, but now need to consolidate some bills to resume building our savings accounts before the new baby arrives. And hopefully with our friends and angels at Prosper, we will be able to have a less worrisome Christmas and coming new year. We almost canceled Thanksgiving at our house, but thanks to my birthday just being a week ahead of Thanksgiving, my parents and sister gave me money for my birthday and three paychecks arrived so I was able to buy food for Thanksgiving dinner. I've thought of canceling Christmas this year because of our credit card balances and our two children just started preschool (tuition and food) and parties we throw are not small. We like to treat our guests very well. This Christmas, at least 25 family members are counting on showing up at our home just like previous years. I was planning on selling our bus to pay off some high-interest credit cards (22% and up). The sale of the bus should bring in about $10,000 because we've gotten that offer before. The difficult part is letting the bus go. But we have to do what we have to do. My financial situation: I am financially secure and have always paid my bills (more than minimum) on or before their due dates. I have built several successful businesses and enjoy a comfortable life and want to be able to continue providing for my family and everyone I care about. I anticipate paying this loan off within 6 months. If the option for selecting a shorter timeframe appears, I will certainly follow through on the shorter timeframe.
