Purpose of loan: I needed cash last month and made an early withdrawal from my IRA. I'm still within the 60-day period to repay it (rollover) and avoid early withdrawal penalties and income taxes (I'm not yet 59-1/2). I just found out about prosper.com and would rather borrow the money here than pay the penalties and taxes. My financial situation: I have a salary+commission sales position with a 20-year-old network equipment company.
