I?m fairly new to Prosper so I?m taking this re-listing opportunity to more adequately describe myself and the situation I?m currently in. About Me I recently moved from Grand Rapids, MI to Atlanta, GA to pursue music at a recording studio and in my band, now based out of Atlanta. Luckily, my job as a manager for a retail music store chain enables me to transfer to different locations, and was a deciding factor for the move. During the move, I put my already-ailing vehicle through a rigorous trip, went up to and over the limit on my two of my credit cards, and missed a payment on one of my cards. I underestimated the cost of the move in some respects and that is what forced me to use my cards. I paid the bill as soon as I was settled in. I?m 24 years old with three years of a college education under my belt. During the time I was in school I incurred a substantial amount of student loan debt. I began to realize that my double-major in English literature and philosophy was not going to pay the bills unless I continued my academic pursuits through to graduate school! So I decided that, since I was not going to be pursuing a professorship or any other academic career with my education, I should wait until I was in a better financial situation to finish my education. Why I need a loan: I need to fix my car as I stated earlier. I would also like to eliminate one of my credit card bills and one of my student loans from my monthly routine. Reasons I believe I am in the HR credit category: I have a fairly short history of credit. My first credit card was opened in October of 2003. During this short history, as a result of just having gotten out of school, I tended to use my cards to help me live life, instead of using them sparingly. I had low limits on all of my cards, and as a result I have gone up to and sometimes over the limit on a couple of occasions. As I stated previously, there was a delinquency on one of my cards when I moved. (It was a 30 day delinquency.) Reasons to fund me: Though I have a short and some (Experian) would say checkered credit history, there are no delinquencies on my credit report. All of my accounts are in good standing and paid on time every month, and I make enough money now that I do not need to use my credit cards as supplemental income. The only reason I am willing to to start at such a high-interest rate is because of the predicament I am in, in terms of my credit score. You will see an excellent return on your investment. Cold Hard Facts: Take home pay per month is approximately $2000. Expenses (per month): Rent - $470 Insurance - $150 Gas - $150 Food - $150 Student Loans - $200 Misc. - $200 Credit Cards - $200 (the minimum payment is less, but I want to pay 'em off) amount left over: $480 Payment on this loan would be from an automatic draft out of my checking account. I thank you for your consideration. Please contact me if there are any questions. My cell number is [PHONE DELETED]. Thanks! |
