Purpose of loan: We have adopted five drug affected children. Our second to oldest has been diagnosed with autism and requires weekly speach and physical therapy. We receive no adoption support for him and my insurance only covers 20 visits a year so after about March every year his therapy costs have been paid out of pocket. Or, more specifically, paid with our Citicard. He's in public school now and receives his therapy there, but we still have a large credit card balance. This loan would pay our credit card off. My financial situation: This card is at 30.4% interest rate. I make monthly payments of $400+ on a regular basis but have been occasionaly late by a few days so the interest rate is horrible. I would much rather pay some person than pay Citicorp and, of course, have a lower interest rate so I can get this debt paid off quickly. I have never defaulted on any financial obligation and have been employed full time since 1986. We thank you for any support you may be able to offer. |
