Purpose of loan:
I'm hoping to qualify for a loan from Prosper with a lower interest rate in order to pay off my credit card debt faster.  No matter how many different scenarios I come up with, nothing seems possible.  The thought of it taking 20-40 years to pay off my current debt makes my stomach turn.  I was barely 17 when I had my son.  I was a single mother, living on my own in an apartment, raising my son and taking care of my younger sister.  (It wasn't possible to live with my parents because it wasn't a safe environment for my son or my sister).  I worked full-time for a little over minimum wage and put myself through nursing school with grants and student loans.  Unfortunately, in order to make it on my own I ended up charging up too many credit cards.  I met my wonderful husband over 5 years ago and have been married now for almost 2.  We had a new beautiful baby in June which ultimately put us deeper into debt since I was on maternity leave for 4 months.  Although I wouldn't change a thing!  I've worked so hard to where I am today.  I enjoy my life, my family, my home, my job, but the credit card debt gets me down at times.  I want to be able to make just one larger payment versus multiple smaller payments.  It seems to be less intimidating!

And to be honest, I'd like to use just a little of it to provide my kids and husband with a wonderful Christmas!

My financial situation:
Although I had a bankruptcy over 5 years ago, I have worked really hard to rebuild my credit.  I always make my payments on time, often more than the minimum payments.  As you can see from my Prosper score, I have an A!  Whoo-hoo, gotta love them A's!  LOL!

Monthly net income: $2800.00  My husbands $ 2300.00 (Not included in bottom scenarios).
