I am relisting this loan.  We had originally aked for $6500 to pay off our credit card, but after speaking with some other Prosper members, I decided to try to obtain $3001.00, then I am going to combine with this amount some of our savings bonds to pay this off.  I am also paying off the Sears cards and my student loans at the same time.  Our 4 year daughter was recently in a 4-wheeler accident, and we are going to have several hospital bills from her injuries we are responsible for.  I am trying to cash in as few savings bonds as possible, though.

A little about us.....I am a 26 year old nursing student.  I have been married to my husband 5 years.  He is a licensed electrician employed by a commerical electrical contractor.  He has been employed by them for 11 years.  Our finances.....I will graduate December 2006 with my BSN & my RN license.  I have just obtained a job at our local hospital as a nursing extern (PRN), and I plan to stay at this hospital, working as a RN after graduation.  My husband travels frequently, and he does recieve a daily per diem of $70 for this.  He has a company veichle and a company cell phone.  He is paid weekly, with a gross pay of $1300 per week for a standard 40 hour work week. For the past two months, and through Oct.2006, he is working 70+ hours due to the large commercial project they are currently building.  His paychecks during this time have been, and will continue to be over $2000 per week.

Our debts include the following:
* Mortgage $555.55
* Veichle $418.00 (paid off in Oct.2006)
* Student Loan $50
* Monthly household bills $700
* Yamaha credit card $200
* Sears credit card $50

Our assets include the following:
* $32,000 invested in 401K
* $9500 EE series US Bonds (will cash in $3500 to put with loan amount)
* Savings account $2500

What went wrong with my credit score.....Please let me explain about this one.   I want to make it clear that we DO pay our bills & we pay them on time.  If you review our credit report, you will notice that in over 6 years, our mortgage has NEVER been past due.  Last year, I decided to try a debt consolidation company to help pay off our credit cards.  The company sounded so promising and guarenteed us so much.  It was not to our knowledge until we began to recieve phone calls from collection agencies in reference to our debts.  It was discovered that the company drafted the agreed monthly amount out of our checking account each month, but did NOT pay any of our creditors.  When we enrolled in the program, we signed releases for each creditor, so we did not even recieve a monthly statement any longer from our creditors.  Once we discovered the problem, we worked hard, and we were able to eliminate all of our misc. debts and credit cards except the Yamaha credit card.

Repayment of our loan....Our loan will be repayed with the minimum amount due until Oct.2006.  In Oct.2006, if agreed upon by all lenders, we will be able to add an additional $418 each month in order to pay it off early.

Why lend to me.............My husband and I are hard working individuals.  He has been great and everytime we ever got into a "jam", he always found something to get the extra money we needed.  Normally, we would not obtain a new loan to pay off a different one, but this credit card has been following us for years, and it will continue to do so unless we eliminate it now.  We are honest, sincere, normal people just like you, but we made a financial mistake we are trying to recover from. If needed I am  willing to send copies of our credit reports, paycheck stubs, monthly GL account, bank statements or any other necessary documentation needed for this loan.
