Purpose of loan: We are newly married couple and when we got married we blended two families; With that came some extra debt. I also have debt and delinquent payments due to a divorce a few years ago. We want to consolidate our debt into one payment so we can be debt free sooner. Being debt free will help us be able to fix up our house and buy much needed furniture for our 4 children. We have tried working with local debt managment programs to consolidate and make one monthly payment however, some creditors will not work with the program. We want to pay off our creditors so that we can stop the late fees and over the limit fees. My financial situation: We have made consistent payments on all our credit cards however, with the interest rate it is hard to pay them off quickly. We are hard workers with steady and dependable jobs. Our credit report shows late and delinquent payments and that is due to working with the debt program and previous marriages. The debt program makes one monthly payment to all creditors and some creditors still charge late fees. The delinquent payments from a previous marriage are from my ex-husband going bankrupt and the creditors giving me the debt. Now that I have graduated from college, I have a steady job that will allow me to make consistent payments on all debt. Together, my husband and I work very hard to meet our responsibilities.
