My name is Scott [LAST NAME DELETED]. I live in the Syracuse, NY area with my wife and four children. I have been a full-blooded entrepreneur my entire life with my first business selling candy bars in tenth grade. After high school I started a cleaning service and for the past seventeen years have worked very hard at it. Five years ago I took the step from home based to an actual office with staff, we began to grow rapidly with the focus being entirely on contract office cleaning. Our sales increased from 50k per year to 750k (2005). Like many entrepreneurs I have had a few financial challenges but have never filed bankruptcy or been seriously delinquent. In March of 06 we added residential services, our sales are up to 2k per month and growing rapidly. Although we are a cleaning service we are actually a sales and marketing organization, services are our product. Our business depends on new clients as we broker most of our accounts to independent affiliates in 10 cities across four states. In January of 06 I sold my Albany, NY territory for 34k. I used the cash to pay off some debt and purchase and renovate a single-family investment property that I now have rented. The woman that bought the territory has decided that she is not cut out for business ownership and would like to sell the territory back to me. She is willing to hold a note if I can provide 15k down. The territory is strong with sales of $18k per month and a healthy profit margin that would easily cover the monthly payment of $527.00 for the new loan.
