Hello & thank you for considering my loan request.

Presently I am a Chemical Lab Engineer working at the Illinois Institute of Technology based in Chicago, Illinois. I attended Purdue University in Indiana where I received my BS degree in Electrical Engineering. While working for Lucent Technology as an Electrical Engineering I attended an online law school for two years of a four year program. As an employee my tuition is free, so my plan is to complete my law degree by attending Illinois Institute of Technology?s Kent Law School this upcoming Fall 2008. In order to start the program with a clean slate I will be paying off the balance of my tuition with the previous law school program. I will continue to work fulltime while attending law school part-time.

In my spare time, I work out as an amateur bodybuilder. I also really enjoy reading non-fiction books on finance, self-motivation and positive transformation. Sometime within the next year or two I would like to purchase my first home. After graduating from law school in 2 years I plan to practice public interest law in the community.

Prosper Loan Requested: $8,000

Explanation of Past Public Record:

The two public records on my credit profile are from a retail sales business that was recorded in 1997 but never used or got started. I was charged taxes and it was satisfied August of 1998. It?s just a matter of filing a certified satisfaction form and having the three credit bureaus removing it from my report.

Monthly Net Income: I earn $2,511.34/mo. net.

Monthly Expenses BEFORE PROSPER Loan: $1,460
Housing: $925
Insurance: $92
Car expenses: $30
Utilities: $45
Phone, cable, internet: $135
Food, entertainment: $50
Clothing, household expenses: $100
Credit cards & other loans: $83

As you can see, I will have over $1,140 left with which to pay my Prosper loan.

I had a previous Prosper loan received on December 2006 with never any late payments that I paid off ahead of schedule. With these timely payments, as well as working on other aspects of my past credit missteps, my credit rating improved by two credit grades! I look forward to continuing to improve my credit rating as well as my financial future. I like many others have had my share of bad credit. Now that I am much older and wiser rest assured my desire to get out of debt is much greater than any desire to spend unwisely. I am very motivated and aggressive at putting my life back into prospective. With the improvements that I have made I am moving forward and looking toward continued success. As with my previous loan, the monthly payments will be automatically deducted from my bank account. I sincerely promise to never default on this loan and all my payments will be made on time.

Thank You for your support.
