Thank you for considering my loan request. I have worked as a postal employee fulltime for the USPS since 1989. My husband and I have been happily married 11 years and have three terrific teenage sons. My husband is employed fulltime in his family?s archery business. I attended Kirtland Community College located in Roscommon, MI where I received my AA degree and then transferred to Davenport University where I was pursuing a bachelor's degree. I intend to finish my degree online and major in elementary education. My plan is to retire early from the postal service in a little over four years and go on to another more emotionally rewarding career, possibly joining the Peace Corps or teaching. To achieve my dream I want to be completely debt free before retirement. If I am funded through Prosper, the loan would be used to consolidate all of our credit cards into one monthly payment. I enjoy fly fishing, skiing, camping and gardening. I also volunteer as the online Chairperson for Relay for Life in our county. Credit Cards to Payoff: GM card: $4,702 @ 13.24% Chase Speedway: $3,123 @ 17.49% Chase Amazon: $4,962 @ 15.51% Bank of America: $7,450 @ 19.98 FIA Huntington Bank: $1,885 ($1,390 @ 7.9%, $475 @ 19.99%) Total $22,122 Prosper Loan Requested: $22,000 Monthly Net Income: I earn $4,100/mo. and my husband earns $2,100. Monthly Expenses BEFORE PROSPER Loan: $ 6,144 Housing: $ 622.50 (every 2 weeks) Insurance: $ 165 Car expenses: $ 560 Utilities: $ 380 Phone, cable, internet: $ 105 Food and cleaning supplies: $ 1200 Household expenses $ 100 Credit cards: $ 838 (eliminated with Prosper loan) Clothing: $ 100 Gasoline and maintenance: $ 550 (I use my own vehicle to deliver mail) Medical: $ 250 Charity: $ 15 Misc. Expenses and Gifts: $ 350 Life Insurance: $ 82 Savings: $ 100 I have a Home Depot payment of $118 a month (included in the $838 above) that will be paid off in January and I currently am paying more than my minimum payment on all but 2 of my credit cards. Monthly Expenses AFTER PROSPER Loan: $ 5,306 As you can see, I will have over $ 894 left with which to pay my Prosper loan. Our financial situation is very good; last year our combined income was $84,000. We have savings and retirement accounts, as well as equity in our home. My excellent ?A? credit, stable job & responsible payment history make me a great candidate for this loan. I personally want to reassure the Prosper lenders that their investment in me is quite safe. As with all my obligations, repayment of this loan is a top priority & payments will be automatically withdrawn. I sincerely promise to make all my payments on time & never default on this loan. Thank you for your kind consideration. |
