To all the lenders on my prior listing: I apologize for withdrawing it prematurely. I meant to enter a longer listing period. Please accept my apologies. Hello! Recently my husband and I moved to New York to pursue fantastic and unexpected job opportunities for us both. Why do I need a loan? Well, things here are going very well, except for the wrinkle of selling our previous residence. In the last year, I took out a line of credit on the house, knowing that we'd be there for several years and would have plenty of time to pay the loan back before selling. Along came these once-in-a-lifetime career moves, and across the country we went. But due to the line of credit, we owe more than the house is worth, and we have to pay that off in order to close on the sale of the home. If I had 6 months or more to save up, I could pay it off, but making the payments on an empty home for that time is quite costly. And that's why I'm here. A little about me: I work in the financial services industry as a financial analyst/accountant, making over $99k per year. My expenses are very low as we're currently renting our home here, and my debt to income ratio is very good and my credit rating is fairly high. I honestly can't remember the last time I made a late payment on anything. Making payments on this loan will be no problem, and I expect to pay it back in less than 1 year. Though this loan is for me and my information is most pertinent, you may also like to know a bit about my husband. He holds a director-level position at a large real estate firm, makes more money than I, and has comparable debt to income ratios and expenses. The move was a big risk emotionally, to leave friends and family for the promise of careers and professional fulfillment, but it is proving to be the right choice. Closing on the sale of our home will be a big and meaningful event for us, as it closes up many loose ends due to the move. I'm very excited to join this community, and hope to become a lender once this loan is paid off successfully. Thank you! |
