Purpose of loan: I would like to try Prosper out from the borrower perspective. I will reinvest most of the money, but will use about a quarter of the loan to get some landscaping completed for my new home. My financial situation: Active duty military for 12 years and have at least 8 more to go. I am currently the pay grade of E-7, but will be an O-1E in a few years. I have repaid one new car loan and one used car loan off in that time. I have also repaid a few student loans. I did not miss a single payment on either car loan or the student loans. I am currently working on paying off my family's CC debt. I may return to use prosper for the CC debt if this particular loan works out well. Please feel free to ask me any questions.
