Purpose of loan: I am looking to get this loan for the purpose of paying off my new 2007 Suzuki Burgman 400 scooter. I am currently financing it through GE Money and they are charging me a whopping 20.75% APR. I am paying approx. $155-$160 a month in interest! I would rather pay this interest to the prosper community at a hopefully much lower rate. I had around $6000 in credit card debt when I purchased the scooter and my credit score was not as good as it is now. I was able to pay off that debt from a very generous bonus from my employer earlier this year so my main concentration now is paying off this scooter. My financial situation: I work full time at a material handling distributor in sales and have been with the company for approx. 4 years 8 months. I recently was given a promotion and plan to stay with the company for a very long time. My only debts are the scooter and about $2000 left on another car. I have never missed a payment and know how important it is to pay bills on time.
