Hello, thank you for viewing my loan request.

Currently, I am an Accountant working with a major non-profit located here in Baltimore, Maryland. My work is enjoyable and I have no plans of leaving this field. I attended Rutgers University in New Jersey where in 2000 I received my Bachelors degree in Accounting. As I?ve always been interested in computers I then went on to obtain my Masters degree in Computer Science from Pace University in New York while working fulltime. My future goal is to someday provide consulting and software solutions for small businesses. Right now when not at work or studying the rest of my time is spent raising my wonderful 2 year old son who is the best thing in my life! He?s the sunshine and joy in my life and I remain driven to secure the best possible future for him.

Having been both a Prosper lender and borrower since joining in April 2006, I completely paid off my first Prosper loan in 16 months with every single payment on time. Now I am seeking a 2nd Prosper loan in order to pay the $4,400 tuition for an Advanced Certificate in Accounting Information Technology from the University of Maryland. With the remainder of the funds I will be consolidating my high interest credit cards and setting up an emergency savings account for future unforeseen occurrences.

Credit Cards to Payoff:
WAMU Visa: $1,300 @ 20.99%
WAMU MasterCard: $2,100 @ 23.99%
Dell computer: $1,600 @24.74%
Citi credit: $1,600 @17.99%
Emergency fund/savings: $4,000

Prosper Loan Requested: $15,000

Monthly Net Income: I earn $3,750/month gross before taxes and $2,966/month net.

Monthly Expenses BEFORE PROSPER Loan: $2,575
Housing: $775
Insurance & gas: $100
Car expenses: $260
Utilities (+ Phone, cable, internet): $190
Food, entertainment: $160
Clothing, household expenses: $70
Credit cards & other loans: $620 (eliminated with Prosper loan)
Other expenses (Daycare): $400

Monthly Expenses AFTER PROSPER Loan: $1,955

As you can see, I will have over $1,011 left with which to pay my Prosper loan. Depending on the final interest rate on my Prosper loan request, my monthly payments on the Prosper loan will be lower than the amount I am currently paying on my credit card balances.

I value my rating, am very responsible with my credit and will not jeopardize it any way.
You can rest assured that I can afford this loan and will make my payments on time!
My financial situation is good & improving my career opportunities through continued professional education is extremely important to me. The repayment of this loan will be a top priority each month with payments automatically withdrawn. I sincerely promise to never default on this loan.

Thank you for your encouragement and support!
