My last Prosper loan was paid on time and in full. My Prosper credit rating improved from B to AA. I have never made a late payment. FICO 760+ with 20+ yrs of credit history Why do I need the money? I need the proceeds of this loan to pay off a credit card that is at 18.99%. I have other outstanding balances with other credit cards at an average rate of 1.5%. I want to keep those balances outstanding because it is a great rate. I need to eliminate the one at 18.99%. The current outstanding balance due and owing on that card is about $40,000. In effort to retire the debt, I will use $25,000 of my own proceeds and will use approximately $15,000 from Prosper. My income is more than enough to cover my new obligation with Prosper.
