I retired from by job in one state and started another career in another state a year and a half ago. My children have worked while going to school and are now looking at graduation from college in a year. My husband is retired and we hope to have our bills paid off within the next 3 years. We sold our house when I retired and are living in an apartment while we work on paying down bills. I hope to work another 6 years in this job to pay all bills and have savings. We were so fortunate to get a loan from Prosper that helped pay some debt. But now we have a new wrinkle-We are requesting another loan from Prosper in the amount of $14,000 to assist in paying unexpected dental expenses. After a lifetime of excellent dental health for both my husband and I, we have both been hit with bigtime dental issues-crowns, bone grafts, implants, etc that are not covered by our dental insurance. We paid out over $4000 this year but are now facing another approximately $14,000.With this help from Prosper we won't be sunk as we forge ahead chipping away at that debt. Thanks for your help! |
