Purpose of loan: I am going to payoff my revolving debt and use the rest of the loan funds to take my wife on a little weekend trip to take the place of a honeymoon until I can take her on a real one.

I had to re-list this loan because Prosper came up with a really low verified income for me.

My financial situation: I am a loan consultant with one of the largest banks in the country. Because of the nature of the mortgage business and 100% of my income being commission based, I can go through very large fluctuations in income from month to month. I have a steady flow of referral business, along with the walk-in business that my bank's brand name provides, so I am always closing loans and really quite busy.

These numbers are pulled directly from my federal tax returns:

2004 Adj Gross Income: $118,237
2005 Adj Gross Income: $125,469
2006 Adj Gross Income: $128,804

2007 Year-to-Date Gross Income: $62,448

I have over $6.5 million in my active loan pipeline, and accounting for loan fallout, I should receive approximately $40k in commission from just my current active loan pipeline. My current yearly income is lagging behind passed years, but I will still hit $100k for the year.

Average Monthly Net Income (last 3 1/2 years): $5950 (conservative)

Monthly expenses: $4468
  •     Housing: $2500
  •     Auto Insurance: $125
  •     Car payment: $593
  •     Utilities: $250
  •     Phone, cable, internet: $200
  •     Food, entertainment: $300
  •     Clothing, household expenses $200
  •     Credit cards: $300

Please compare this listing to the one that was cancelled by Prosper. You will see that I was correct about my credit profile. The revolving balances went down to about $7,000 and my prosper credit grade went from a "D" to a "C".

Credit Profile:
All of the delinquencies are over 5 1/2 years old and occurred during one rather horrendous period of my life which began in October 2000 with the separation and eventual divorce from my ex-wife (finalized August 2001), and continued through the beginning of 2002, which is the last time a late payment shows in my credit history. During this period my oldest brother (Feb. 2001) and my mother (Dec. 2001) passed away. I lost my high paying IT job (Apr. 2001), and could not find a comparable position. I had to file for bankruptcy because of the unemployment and pending divorce. My car was repossessed (Sep. 2001), and I was evicted from my home (Dec. 2001).

If the loan does fund, I will do my best to carry the loan through to full term, so everybody that contributes gets paid well.

Thank you for your consideration.
