Hi there! As you might have guessed from my pictures, I'm an animal lover. I've spent a substantial amount of time over the last 7 years volunteering at EFBC (www.cathouse-fcc.org) which has given me a lot of unusual experiences, including having a full grown leopard sit on my feet. I also work with feral cats, socializing them when they're young enough to tame. I have a dog, a Rottie/Aussie Shepard, who has suffered the indignity of being used as a kneading pillow for my cats. I love to surf, read, tae-bo, swordfight, watch horror movies (Dawn of the Dead!), will walk instead of drive whenever possible, & wish there were more TV shows like Buffy & Firefly. I love my iBook!
My passion is writing, but I have a day job that I love as office manager for the internal VC arm of a large multinational. I was, in fact, referred to Prosper by a co-worker (my group leader has verified my paystub & work email, btw). Even if the writing pays off, I've no plans to quit the job because I like my co-workers & enjoy the autonomy, creativity & flexible schedule here. One script sale (contract sent to GL) does not a life of luxury make. I?m a very pragmatic dreamer.
I sell things on Ebay (seller name Zhadi) to earn extra cash on the side. I have 100% positive feedback on 211 buyer comments, GL verified. When I divorced & relocated, my credit card debt spiraled up from a combo of necessary car repairs, moving costs, lack of job for the first few months,& to be honest, a bit?o?depression/stress based retail therapy. I have no problems paying my bills (I sent my GL a copy of my credit report), but would like to get a low interest loan to pay off the high interest cards (eg 30%, GL verified). I pulled my first listing because I was with a group that only shared 25%. I wanted to switch groups so I could offer lenders a higher percentage. After re-doing the math, I realized I could ask for a smaller loan to consolidate the highest rate debts, & maybe get a lower rate on Prosper as well.
