I recently graduated from a top U.S. business school and I am interested in the P2P lending market. I don?t need the money; I just want to experience the borrowing process first-hand. You can see that I have excellent credit. I am willing to pay up to 9% interest, even though this is higher than my current credit card rates. In fairness of full disclosure, my DTI will go up in a few months when I start making payments on student loans. I don't believe Prosper captured those future payments in my DTI. But nonetheless, I will still have no problem paying off the loan. Additionally, my salary is not 100% secure as I am involved in a Silicon Valley start-up. Should my company not succeed, I will be out of a job. However, I have a reasonable savings with which to pay off the loan should this happen. I am hoping to have a good first experience here at Prosper. If everything goes well I look forward to continued borrowing and lending in the future. Thanks for your interest in my loan. |
