Thank you for taking the time to consider our request. This is a relist. I'm going to omit a lot of what I'd written previously to avoid my listing looking like a novel. Please check out my prior listings for a little history. After reviewing the numerous suggestions from the lenders/members of Prosper, we realized it was in our best interest to get more estimates on our roof. So, that's what I did. We obtained 3 estimates from Lowes, Home Depot, and a local roofing contracting company here in GA. The estimates were $4700, $4625, and $4880, respectively. Needless to say, we dumped our previous contractor (who quoted $14,900). My wife and I decided to go with Lowes, because the rep. was very informative and walked us through the entire process. They are also doing a couple of procedures the other two contractors didn't quote in their price, for example, a drip edge. The HD guy seemed to be in a rush to leave and the independent contractor, although very nice, wasn't informative, and said our price could double once the work started. They also took 3 calls to come out to our home. I WILL EMAIL ESTIMATES to any lender who asks. Please note, I will white out any of our personal information. My financial situation: Income: NET $ 2700 - Me $2200-Wife Monthly expenses: Mortgage: $ 1081.00 (incl taxes & ins) Insurance(car): $ 125 Car expenses: $ 300 Utilities: $ 320 Food: $ 400 Clothing, household expenses $ 100 Credit cards and other loans: $ 489 P.S. We just acquired cell phone plans (coming into this century) $76/mo I've worked for the same company as an auto tech for the past three years. It was bought out by another owner in February of this year, which is why I show only 8 months of employment. However, our business had it's ups and downs, as our business is based on mobile services. Shortly after gaining custody of my boys, I applied for and was promoted to manager. So, I no longer have to worry about slow periods and suffering paychecks. I now make an annual salary of $40k. My wife also works earning around $30k annually. I have NEVER had a delinquency or collection. My last Prosper loan was paid off in 7 months, without any late payments. We are more than capable of making the monthly payments. I ask you again to put your faith in my family and assist us, so that we may make our home safer. Please ask me anything. My wife and I take nothing or anyone for granted. We thank you again for any and all consideration! |
