Hi, my name is Mike and I'm in a little bit of a bind. My credit card
company is increasing my rate from 16 to 27%, yet I've made every
payment on time each month. I applied for a HELOC however I have only
owned my home for 6 months and lenders won't commit to that yet. I pay
my bills on time and I'm an accountable person with finances. A friend
