This is an attempt to reinvest in Prosper to provide seed money for those in need of loans they cannot acquire elsewhere. I currently have 34 current loans on Prosper, with many of them to high credit risk people who need a second chance. Unfortunately, I live in a state that heavily regulates interest rates and the highest my state will allow is the 7+% I have listed. I know that makes it a not so handsome loan, but funding $50 to $100 dollars should not adversely effect your overall rate too bad and provide some diversity and stability to your loan profile. You could invest the whole amount and get rates that beat any CD on the market. Credit rating is AA with low DTI of 8%. Don't let the open credit lines scare you. My excellent credit rating allows me of borrow money at 0% to open an account for a period of months. I reinvest this money then pay off the card, but do a poor job of calling and canceling after it is paid off. This is money in the bank at twice the rate.
