Purpose of loan: I unexpectedly contracted West Nile Virus and Meningitis this past year, I have since fully recovered and have returned to work fulltime in neurorehabilitation and as adjunct college faculty, Yet as a father of four children, you can imagine the challenges this presented for me and my family. During that time, my wife's mother died following a long battle with cancer and her nephew was tragically killed in an auto accident. Our oldest son then left to attend a private college out of state. I am requesting consideration for this loan to pay off the debt which occurred from medical expenses incurred beyond insurance coverage, travel expenses acquired from attending hospice care and funerals, and additional college costs which superseeded scholarship and financial aid provisions. My financial situation: I have been presently employed in adminstration with the same company for the past 15 years, and as a part-time college professor for the past 9 years, demonstrating continuity of employment. Additional income has not yet been factored, as my wife has just accepted a Montessori teaching position which will provide extra income, although her salary is still in negotiation. Credit history presents no late payments or deliquencies within the past seven years and more. This loan will allow us to maintain our AA credit rating and budget free of any revolving credit. Monthly net income: $ 5275 (with additonal income to be net from spouse's new teaching position) Monthly expenses: $ 3830 Housing: $ 2045 Insurance: $ 200 Car expenses: $ 0 Utilities: $ 150 Phone, cable, internet: $ 120 Food, entertainment: $ 1000 Clothing, household expenses $ 100 Credit cards and other loans: $ 315 (all credit cards to be paid off with loan) Other expenses: $ |
