Purpose of loan: Thank you for taking the time to review my loan needs. The purpose of this loan is to pay off some taxes my husband and I owe, only due to the company my husband worked for abruptly closing after many years in management there (the owner died). Thankfully, there was only a very short gap in employment for my husband, which came at a time when taxes were due. My financial situation: I am a teacher, and this is my 19th year teaching. My job is extremely stable. My husband is in production management and is with a new company. We work very hard, and I have never been unemployed, and my husband just had a brief break when his company closed unexpectedly. I AM UNSURE WHY MY CREDIT IS A D, SINCE I HAVE NO LATE PAYMENTS ON MY CREDIT REPORT (I use Experian and check it frequently). Apparently, my state has a maximum for interest rate, so that is what I am asking for, although I was willing to go higher.
