Hello all and thank you for looking. This is my second shot at borrowing (I delisted my first listing and joined a group) on Prosper so here goes: I am looking to get a loan to pay for my son's speech therapy. He is 3 years old and is currently communicating at an 18 month old's level. We do have insurance but they only pay for 20 visits a year. At 3 visits a week 20 did not last long. Each visit is $70 and we have been paying this out of pocket for a couple of months but we would rather build up a little nest egg if possible. The therapists say he has about six months of therapy to go, it was going to be much longer but he was accepted to a pre-k program which when coupled with the regular therapy is supposed to produce great resluts. We have our fingers crossed. Well now the financial stuff: the DTI ration technically is correct, but in real life my husband pays all of the bills with his salary, and by income has been going towards speech therapy since I started my small home daycare, 3- 2 year olds and my little man. As you can see by doing the math this loan would result in at least a $632 monthly savings, so the payback would be no problem at all. I am trying Prosper because my husband had a great experience with you guys a couple of weeks ago and I am hoping for the same great results. Thanks for looking and email me if you have any questions. |
