Greetings,
The simplest way for me to describe why I want the loan is to post a link to the synopsis for the documentary I will make with the funds I raise. Thanks in advance for considering me and what should be a wonderful story about an American journey.
Before the synopsis on the film let me tell you about my repayment plans.
Repayment of the loan:
The loan I am requesting for my documentary will be paid back as a regular matter of course, since my car payment of $326 ends this year. The Prosper loan payment is nearly equal to the car payment, so there is actually no extra payment to manage. I also will return to a much higher paying job, if need be, upon the completion of the film. My debt ratio of around 20% is artificially higher since I took a lower paying job in order to get this documentary done.
Two Comments:
1) My current job allows me to have the benefit of this creative endeavor. However, I am able to go back to work as a stockbroker at any time. I am professional licensed with a series 7, 55, & 63. This would more than double my income, immediately cutting the debt/income ratio down to 10%.
2) You'll note that I do have that $15,000 wedding ring to sell! This is an asset for the movie when and if it is sold.
Below is a link to the complete promotional page for the Documentary:

.
State of the Union promises to be a great American documentary. We know where Mike is headed; we just don't know where he'll end up.
Thanks for your funding and excitement on this groundbreaking documentary.
