Purpose of loan: I am a contract Wedding Photographer looking to be able to work from home. My laptop has gotten too slow to process the size of files that are being output by my studio, so I am upgrading to a new desktop system. Due to the amount of time this will save me in both commute and processing I will be able to take on a minimum of $500 new editing and freelance work each month (this has been guaranteed by the studio I freelance for. My financial situation: My financial situation is very stable. I have been a contract photographer for the same studio for 4 years, and have jobs booked through September of 2008. I have never missed a payment on any account, and preserving my credit is a major goal, since I do a handful of real estate investing. I also keep a 5k cash reserve at all times in my savings account in order to always have liquid cash in case of emergency. I recently got married and share many expenses below with my wife who works full-time as a retail sales manager. Since the wedding, we have been aggressively paying any balances remaining on CC.
