Purpose of loan: This will be my first Prosper loan. I had tried for a larger amount previously to fund a specific expense, but was not able to get funded at an attractive rate. I would like to get more familiar with this process and re-lend on the system to other Prosper borrowers. This is my second try at this loan. It was not funded the first time around. For some reason, Massachusetts/Prosper had a max listing rate of 10.3% which was BELOW the avg funded rate for my credit grade. Not sure how that works out. This time around I have listed for $6,001.00 which gets me into the next tier of loans and allows for a higher max rate. My financial situation: My financial situation is excellent and there will be no issue repaying this loan. I plan to re-lend the funds back to Prosper Borrowers and capture the spread in rate.
