PURPOSE OF THE LOAN My name is Sven. I have been married to my wife, Terri, for 9 years and we have three sons ages 3, 5, and 8. We have owned our home for 7 years and are now in the process of relocating to Georgia from Wisconsin. We had $12,000 set aside for the move and have now found that we are short. We are looking for a $4000 loan to help cover the moving truck, gas, new appliances and fixing our minivan in order to make the trip safely. OUR RELISTINGS: Our first listing showed the moving expenses at $22,000, but after listing we sat down and made some major expense cuts. The big change being going from a moving company ($9000) to a self-drive Uhaul instead ($3000). The reason we withdrew our second listing was because we belonged to a group with only 25% shared, which lowered the lender interest rate. By joining a group with 100% shared we are able to accept a higher interest rate (the maximum allowed in Wisconsin). OUR CREDIT GRADE We have been a family living on one income for eight years and over that time we have had to use our share of credit cards and loans. Our grade reflects the amount of credit we have taken out, but if you were able to see our credit report you would find that there are absolutely NO late payments and NO delinquencies. We never make late payments and we don't intend to start now. ABILITY TO REPAY After being a stay at home mom, my wife decided to go back to college four years ago to pursue her teaching degree. She graduated in January and spent the last few months substitute teaching. She has signed a contract to teach kindergarten starting August 9th. Her salary will be $34,000/year. I have been working with the same company for four years in the public relations department. I have been in the public relations field for eight years. My current salary is $45,000/year. Our bills consist of our credit card payments ($500/month), our mortgage payment ($800/month) and my wife's student loan payments will begin later in summer ($140/month). We own both of our vehicles so we do not have a car payment. We feel that having two incomes totaling $79,000/year we will have no problem making our new loan payment ($144/month). THANK YOU We are grateful for the opportunity to apply for a loan here at Prosper. Thank you for your time and consideration in lending to us in order to make our dream of moving come true. |
