Purpose of loan: To help fund a down payment for a house so that my children can grow up with better stability than I did. and to help consolidate high interest loans and credit lines so that I can build up my credit rating and be a lender next time instead of a borrower. The mortgage payment we are looking at is the same as my rent now, I would really like to be paying for something of my own instead. My financial situation: I work hard and am out of state half of the year with my job. I am trying to get ahead in life but just can't seem to. I make decent money and pay all of my bills on time, usually more than the minimum and many times early. I cannot seem to get my head above water even though I do this.
