First of all, I would like to thank everyone who funded my first loan with Prosper. I was able to use that money to pay off all my past debts accumulated by my ex-wife and increase my credit score from an "A" to an "AA" with Prosper. Thank you, thank you, thank you... Purpose of loan: The purpose of this is to buy a new car. I will also be selling/trading my 2001 Chrysler Sebring that I own outright to cover the any extra costs. Yea, I could go to the bank and get a loan for about the same interest rate that I could get here with Prosper, but why let the bank make more money? As a Prosper lender myself, I currently have 62 funded loans to other Prosper members, and I know how it feels to have a late payment as a lender. My first Prosper loan was never late and was paid off in six months. This loan will go the fill 3 years. I can assure you that this is one of the safest loans you can bid on at Prosper and will NEVER be late. My financial situation: I have increased my rating with Prosper from an "A" rating to an "AA" rating since my first Prosper loan and my financial situation has only gotten better. I am in best financial shape I have been in years. I am even investing money back into Prosper.
