My husband and I have been married for 9 years on the 22nd of June. We have weathered some really rough times, including a brief separation about 3 years ago, but we are still together and things have been growing closer with each and every year (we have actually known each other since we were about 13 years old!!). My husband's father and I are surprising my husband with a long weekend getway for our anniversary. My Father-in-Law has okayed the use of his vacation home in Michigan's Upper Peninsula for this long weekend away. I really would like to make this getaway something special for my husband as he works 50+ hours a week as a supervisor at a local manufacturing plant and is on call pretty much 24/7, but I need some additional cash to work with outside of our normal budget so that he doesn't catch on to the surprise. The payment for this loan would only be approximately $40 per month which I can easily manage to take out of our household budget without skimping on anything else.
