Purpose of loan:

It's time for me to realize the American dream and make a living doing what I love: cooking for people.

I am requesting this loan in order to kickstart my personal chef business.  I am culinarily trained, have my local food service + sanitation license, and have done ridiculously large amounts of research into making this business work.  It requires very low overhead, but what I do need help with is ensuring I can pay my bills during the first couple of months.  That's why I'm requesting this loan.  If you help me achieve my dream, you'll not only be helping change my life; you'll be helping to change the lives of all of my clients.  Many people coming home from a busy, exhausting day at the office don't want to have to worry about dinner for themselves and their families.  That's where I come in; after an extensive and thorough discussion and documenting of their food preferences and allergies, I'll create menus just for them and submit them for their approval.  When my clients approve their menus, I will show up at their homes on the appointed day at the appointed time, full of freshly purchased groceries.  I will then prepare their meals to their specifications in their kitchens, store them properly, and clean their kitchens completely when I am done.  The only things I'll leave behind will be wonderful smells of delicious food, and of course the delicious food itself.

My clients win.  You'll win.  I'll win.  We'll all win. :)

My financial situation:

My financial situation may not be perfect, but I pay my bills and I pay them on time.  I'd love to have no debt at all, and hopefully will do that someday, but I think paying everything on time is a good way to be if you do have debt.  With the help of your loan and starting my business, I should actually be making a better living than I am now.  Since I don't plan to incur further debt, my debt should then substantially decrease.
