I've been a Scale Attendant for JR Simplot since January 1998. I've helped out with the county fair for several years, volunteering to help some of the elderly superintendents with odd tasks and clerical work. My kids are both in sports and music & help out on their grandfather?s ranch. I recently earned my AA in accounting, but cannot receive my degree until my tuition is paid off (less than $900 left). This summer I?ve had a few medical expenses that were above what I had planned for. Everything is doing good now, just have to pay off those doctors. Unfortunately, I have incurred a few higher interest (20-30%) debt trying to pay off my medical bills and now I'd like to rectify some of those mistakes. I'd like to become a good financial role model for my kids. I recently was able to get my credit rating up to a B rate, and I would like to not fall back down again. If you will help out, I appreciate it greatly. Thank you.

Present Budget

Income $1,780.00

Expenses

Loan Payments: $ 150
Medical Payments: $ 250
Credit cards: $ 150
Rent: $100
Electric & Phone: $ 250
Tuition: $ 35
Food, Clothing, Etc: $ 400
Car & Insurance: $390
Total Expenses: $1725.00
Left Over: $55.00

Budget after Prosper Loan

Prosper Payments: $361
Loan Payments: $ 50
Medical Payments: $ 0
Credit Cards: $ 20
Left over from Income: $ 174

The Prosper loan would pay $5000 for a loan that I pay $100/mo, $500 to pay off my medical bills, and $4000 for credit cards (scissors have already been used on them) totaling $130/mo.

My housing costs are low because I bought my house, then sold to my dad (it is on his property). So I pay $100 rent for the land my house sits on. The price he pays me for the house equals the cost of the rent of the house, so no other money changes hands at this time.

Savings due to Prosper Loan:

Not only will being funded with this loan lower my interest rates, but it will free an additional $119 a month that I can pay to other bills. It may not seem like a lot, but it is a start. Also, the remaining payments I?ll be paying out are the ones that have lower balances remaining. So, within a year, I?ll be able to free up about another $70. In 2 years (or sooner), another $35 on my tuition. And in 3 years (or sooner), another $280 on my car payments will be freed up for other needs or savings. Thank you for helping me take care of my family.
