Purpose of loan: My house was built in 1908 and is a historical home. It still has some of the original piping in the basement connecting my water heater and utility tub. My water heater, which served this house for several years before I bought it has finally died. The master plumber who assessed the situation says that I need some re-piping, new shut off valves and dialetric unions in addition to a new water heater. I need funds this week in order to fix these problems and I would rather not have to deal with a bank for this. That is why I am making this emergency appeal to the prosper lending community. My financial situation:My credit has been affected by poor decisions I made during my years in undergraduate school. However, I know the value of integrity as it relates to financial matters. I pay all of my bills on time. I am a home owner and landlord. I operate according to a strict budget. I'm very financially disciplined.
